To be transparent for what you pay for i'll go through the method i use to do hardware product development. The model i use is adapted from industry best practices to fit small to medium production sizes and consist of following phases: Ideation ๐ก, POC ๐ฌ, EVT-x โ๏ธ, DVT-x ๐งช, PVT ๐ญ, and MP ๐.
I take your idea and turn it into a clear product concept along with technical feasibility assement, requirements and specs to make a clear plan.
I create a working prototype to validate the concept and gather user feedback early in the process.
Complete technical product including embedded hardware, firmware, and mechanical integration.
The product needs to be thoroughly tested to make sure the product meets all specifications and user needs before moving to production.
The product is finalized and prepared for mass production, ensuring all aspects such as supply chain and QA are ready for mass production.
When the product has launched successfully, I will support post-launch activities and iterative improvements based on user feedback.
